GARDENING TIPS
If you're checking out this website, then you probably have an interest in gardening. Doesn't matter if it's trees, vegetables, herbs, or flowers; more than likely you enjoy working in the soil and seeing your garden produce from seed or a store bought plant you just had to have in your own garden.
Our pages are filled with information gleaned from other gardeners, some in our garden club and still other sources on the internet, in books or magazines. We have tried to give credit where credit is due. What you see here under our Gardening tab are articles previously published in our club newsletter. By clicking on the month, you will find most articles coincide with that month, but since we live in Alaska, there will be winter months that have miscellaneous articles that just have to do with gardening.
It is our goal to use articles that help educate gardener's in Alaska. Our Northern, cooler, growing conditions present challenges not seen in warmer southern states. When our club members share their personal information of success or something they found doesn't work very good, well, that's information everyone should be interested in. Enjoy the gardening tips we're sharing and invite your friends to check us out as well.
